Taff Bargoed Project – Otterly Brilliant

Otterly Brilliant Animal Adaptations

Rationale: Learning through play, dressing-up as animals’ game in groups, open discussion, presenting as a group.

Idea: Used in an outdoor classroom setting, children are split into groups each group given an animal costume and fact sheet. They must decide as a group who will dress-up and who will say what about their animal. Then explain its amazing adaptations to the other groups.

Outcome: Delivered as final session before the summer holidays with Trelewis Primary as a thank you for all their hard work looking after our Elvers. It has been well received and we have been asked to continue in 2019.
